The Vetcall group was established in 1976 and has since assisted thousands of local pets from puppy or kitten hood right through to their senior years. Our highly qualified Vet Dr Claire Carney has special interest in dermatology, allergy management and pain management of chronic disease. Our animal healthcare team will offer education, advice and care to ensure your pet has the longest, happiest and healthiest life possible.

Claire graduated from the University College Dublin in 2012. After graduation she worked in a mixed animal practice before moving to Australia in 2015. Claire spent several years working in a small animal practice in northern NSW before joining us here at Vetcall Burleigh. Claire has a special interest in dermatology and allergy management and pain management of chronic disease.

Outside of work Claire enjoys travelling, diving and spending time with her dog Croia and rescue cat, Ceola.

Tash
Practice Manager

Since making the move to Veterinary Nursing in 2010, Tash worked in a small clinic on the Northern End of the Gold Coast prior to joining Vetcall Q'SuperStore in 2016. She joined Vetcall Burleigh as our Practice Manager in 2018. Tash has always worked with animals, spending many years working with wildlife at Dreamworld, gaining a broad knowledge in lots of different species including koalas, kangaroos, snakes and crocodiles.  She then made the move to the RSPCA to work as a Rescue Officer, providing help to all animals, including domestic, wildlife and livestock.

In her spare time Tash enjoys taking part in Obstacle Course races and spending time with her three parrots, Algae, Cherry and Yoshi and two dogs, Shadow and Ember. Tash is passionate about providing the best care possible for your pet

Justin
Vet Nurse

Justin is currently studying his Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. He enjoys working in a job that he has always been interested in.

Justin grew up in the bush of the Northern Territory and was always helping injured wildlife.

When Justin isn't working with animals he plays Aussie Rules and enjoys camping.

Taryn
Vet Nurse

Taryn started training as a Veterinary Nurse in Feb 2018. She feels privileged to gain her experience and training from working between 5 of NVC clinics, with Vetcall Burleigh now being her home clinic.

At home Taryn cares for big and small animals. She has two rescue dogs, a 4.5kg Chihuahua and a 35kg Bull Arab who are the best of friends! Her large animals are a cheeky pony and an ex-racehorse. Taryn enjoys doing a bit of horseriding and being outdoors in her spare time.
