Originally from Sydney, Dr. Alex has spent most of her veterinary career in Far North Queensland after graduating with dux from James Cook University in Townsville. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience garnered from her time in various rural clinics. Since relocating to the Gold Coast in 2023, she has found love for both the place and people, as well as developing her interests in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, clinical pathology, palliative care, and endocrinology. With three cherished Burmese companions of her own and a stint in Africa working with lions, the special place she holds in her heart for cats is unmistakable. Beyond the clinic walls, Dr. Alex can be found embracing the natural surroundings of the Gold Coast—whether it’s at the beach, a local creek, or exploring one of the many hikes around. Her passion for animals extends beyond the veterinary realm, making her a compassionate and well-rounded addition to our veterinary team.
